세마틱 세그멘테이션은 컴퓨터 비전 분야의 작업으로, 이미지의 각 픽셀을 특정 범주나 객체로 분류하는 것을 목표로 합니다. 이 작업의 목적은 각 픽셀이 특정 범주나 객체에 할당되는 밀도 높은 픽셀 수준의 세그멘테이션 맵을 생성하는 것입니다. 이 작업은 자율 주행 및 의료 이미지 분석과 같은 영역에서 중요한 응용 가치를 가지고 있으며, 일반적으로 평균 교집합 비율 (Mean IoU) 및 픽셀 정확도 등의 지표를 사용하여 평가됩니다.
