In response to this, Professor Wu Mengyue's team from the X-LANCE Laboratory of Shanghai Jiao Tong University collaborated with the University of Texas at Arlington (UTA), Tianqiao Brain Science Institute (TCCI) and ThetaAI.We have built an automated large-scale dialogue agent simulation system, the Agent Mental Clinic (AMC).Used for preliminary diagnosis of depression. This system can simulate psychiatrists and potential depression patients at the same time, and simulate depression consultation dialogues.

A mental health consultation and consultation platform based on a large model agent
Introduction
This research group proposed the "Big Model Agent Psychological Clinic", which aims to build an agent-based mental health dialogue platform. By simulating the dialogue between patients and psychiatrists, the big model intelligent body in the platform can evolve itself and optimize the performance.
The project designed a psychiatrist agent with a three-level memory structure, equipped with dialogue control and reflection plug-ins to act as a "supervisor", and improved the commonly used memory sampling module. At the same time, the patient agent was initialized using a depression consultation dataset collected from real-life scenarios, providing sufficient event information for the construction of simulated patients. The chat that simulated patient dialogues achieved a higher accuracy in the diagnosis of depression risk and suicide risk.

The researchers collected a total of 1,339 conversations of satisfactory quality to form a depression consultation dataset D4, the degree of depression was divided into four categories: none (430 dialogues), mild (342 dialogues), moderate (368 dialogues), and severe (199 dialogues), with an average of 21.6 dialogue rounds. Afterwards, Wu Mengyue's team proposed the SEO depression symptom diagnosis annotation framework to annotate the D4 dataset.
