Google and Accel Atoms Launch AI Innovation Program in India with Funding, Mentorship, and Access to Advanced Models
Google is partnering with Accel Atoms to launch a new initiative aimed at accelerating AI innovation in India. The program, powered by the Google AI Futures Fund and Accel Atoms, is now accepting applications from visionary pre-seed founders ready to build bold, transformative AI applications. Selected startups will gain exclusive access to cutting-edge technologies from Google DeepMind, including the Gemini, Imagen, and Veo models, enabling them to experiment and develop with state-of-the-art AI capabilities. In addition, founders will receive hands-on mentorship from experienced engineers, product leaders, and go-to-market experts from both Google and Accel. The program also provides technical support through Google Cloud credits and dedicated infrastructure assistance to help startups build, test, and scale their products efficiently. Selected companies will also have the opportunity to receive direct equity investment from both Accel and Google, offering crucial early-stage capital to fuel growth. Applications are now open via the Accel India portal, with the cohort set to begin in February 2026. The initiative is part of Google’s broader effort to empower the next generation of Indian AI entrepreneurs and strengthen the country’s position as a global hub for AI innovation.
