New Relic Unveils AI-Powered AWS Integrations to Enhance Observability, Security, and Incident Resolution in Production Environments
New Relic, the Intelligent Observability company, has announced a suite of new integrations with Amazon Web Services (AWS) aimed at accelerating AI-driven business operations by enabling organizations to predict, prevent, and orchestrate issues more effectively. The announcement was made during AWS re:Invent 2025 in Las Vegas. The integrations bring New Relic’s AI-powered observability capabilities directly into AWS AI services, empowering developers, DevOps engineers, SREs, and incident responders with real-time, actionable insights. The goal is to streamline workflows, reduce mean time to resolution (MTTR), and support secure, scalable AI and agentic workloads. A key component of the new offering is the integration of New Relic’s MCP Server with AWS DevOps Agent and Amazon Quick Suite. When an alert is triggered, the AWS DevOps Agent calls the New Relic MCP Server, which delivers intelligent observability insights—including root cause analysis and business context—enabling automated or guided mitigation actions. This integration significantly reduces manual effort and speeds up incident resolution. New Relic AI now also integrates with Amazon Q index, a fully managed search service that securely aggregates enterprise data. This allows New Relic AI to pull in critical business and technical context—such as deployment notes, runbooks, and compliance policies—when responding to incidents. Engineers can now ask natural language questions in New Relic AI, and the system leverages the Amazon Q index to deliver comprehensive, context-aware answers, helping teams understand both the technical and business impact of an issue in a single view. In addition, New Relic introduced Security RX Cloud, a unified security and posture management solution. The new agentic integration with AWS allows DevSecOps teams to identify, prioritize, and remediate Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) vulnerabilities directly from the AWS console, CLI, or configuration templates like Terraform and CloudFormation. By connecting build-time security findings with runtime configurations, the platform enables faster, more accurate remediation and reduces context switching. To further simplify adoption, New Relic Monitoring for SAP Solutions is now available in AWS Marketplace. It provides native, agentless observability for SAP and non-SAP systems across clouds and digital experiences. This eliminates the need for agent deployment, reducing the risk of business process disruptions. The solution is also featured in the updated RISE with SAP on AWS technical documentation, offering AWS-focused guidance on observability for SAP environments. New Relic’s Intelligent Observability Platform continues to evolve to meet the demands of modern AI-driven enterprises. As global AI spending is projected to exceed $2 trillion by 2026, according to Gartner, the need for unified, intelligent observability has never been greater. New Relic’s latest integrations with AWS are designed to help organizations maintain reliability, accelerate innovation, and confidently scale AI in production. Organizations such as Adidas Runtastic, Domino’s, GoTo Group, Ryanair, Swiggy, Topgolf, and William Hill rely on New Relic to improve system reliability, drive digital innovation, and deliver exceptional customer experiences.
