NVIDIA, ServiceNow Partner on Enterprise AI Agents
NVIDIA and ServiceNow announced an expanded collaboration to jointly launch efficient autonomous AI agent systems tailored for enterprises. At the ServiceNow Knowledge 2026 conference, NVIDIA co-founder Jensen Huang and ServiceNow CEO Bill McDermott outlined a new phase of enterprise AI: transitioning from generation and reasoning toward actionable execution. By combining NVIDIA's accelerated computing, open-source models, and secure execution software with ServiceNow's workflow context and governance frameworks, they aim to build safe, easily deployable enterprise-grade autonomous agents. ServiceNow officially launched Project Arc, a long-term self-evolving desktop agent designed specifically for knowledge workers. Native integration via the ServiceNow Action Fabric connects it directly to the ServiceNow AI platform, ensuring auditability and workflow intelligence. Unlike standalone agents, Project Arc can access local file systems, terminals, and applications to complete complex multi-step tasks while strictly adhering to corporate governance requirements. Its core runtime environment leverages NVIDIA's open-source security runtime, OpenShell, enabling sandboxed execution under policy control for granular management of permissions and tools. Furthermore, both parties are committed to building an open ecosystem by leveraging NVIDIA's AI skills and the Nemotron open-source models, allowing enterprises to customize specialized agents. For instance, deep-research agents based on NVIDIA's AI Blueprint can assist in business decision-making. To validate performance, the two companies introduced the joint NOWAI-Bench benchmark suite, which focuses on evaluating multi-step workflow capabilities; among these benchmarks, Nemotron 3 Super achieved top results. On the infrastructure front, the NVIDIA Blackwell platform delivers significant energy efficiency gains, boosting token-per-watt throughput by over 50 times compared to previous generations, substantially reducing token costs and accelerating AI adoption from pilot projects to large-scale production. The ServiceNow AI Control Tower will integrate with NVIDIA Enterprise AI Factories to provide full-lifecycle monitoring. As infrastructure, contextual awareness, and governance mechanisms mature, enterprise AI is entering a new era of scaled action.
