Ambience Healthcare Appoints Mike Valli as Dual Chief Revenue and Value Officer to Drive AI-Driven Impact in Health Systems

Ambience Healthcare has announced the appointment of Mike Valli as both Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) and Chief Value Officer (CVO), marking a pivotal step in the company’s growth strategy. In this dual role, Valli will lead global go-to-market efforts while also establishing and managing the enterprise value framework that ensures customers achieve measurable clinical, operational, and financial outcomes from the company’s AI platform. The appointment underscores Ambience’s shift toward a commercial model where growth is directly tied to demonstrable impact. Valli will ensure every customer deployment delivers a clear return on investment, aligning with the priorities of clinical, operational, and financial leaders across health systems. “Healthcare AI will only scale if it creates real, system-level change,” said Nikhil Buduma, CEO and Co-Founder of Ambience. “Mike understands that value isn’t theoretical—it must be operational, financial, and clinical. His unique ability to bridge strategy, execution, and results makes him the ideal leader as we enter our next phase of expansion.” Valli brings over 15 years of experience at the intersection of healthcare technology, clinical operations, and financial performance. Most recently, he served as Chief Commercial Officer at symplr, a leading enterprise healthcare operations software provider, where he led go-to-market strategy and commercial execution. Prior to that, he spent over a decade at Optum in senior leadership roles, including Market President and Executive Vice President of Enterprise Strategy & Growth, where he built key partnerships with major hospitals and health systems and drove revenue and profit performance. In addition to Valli’s appointment, Ambience has expanded its executive leadership team with two new hires. Richa Gupta, MBBS, MHSA, joins as Vice President of Care Transformation. With over 20 years of experience in academic medical centers, Gupta previously served as Chief Operating Officer at Rush University Medical Center, where she led strategic expansions, drove volume growth, and managed the institution’s national response to the COVID-19 pandemic. She began her career at Northwestern Memorial Hospital, working on clinical operations and surgical platform improvements. Jeffrey Gerson has been named Vice President of Marketing. He will lead product and growth marketing, communications, brand strategy, and strategic events as Ambience scales across the U.S. Gerson brings extensive experience building and marketing transformative technology products. He was one of Instagram’s earliest employees, where he founded the product marketing function and helped launch key features. He has also served as Chief Marketing Officer at Updater, a leading real estate technology company, and advised multiple high-growth startups.
