Simbian Partners with SB C&S Corp. to Deliver AI-Powered SOC Solutions in Japan

Simbian, a company developing Superintelligence for Security Operations, has announced a strategic distributor agreement with SB C&S Corp., a subsidiary of SoftBank Group, marking its entry into the Japanese market. Under the agreement, SB C&S will distribute Simbian’s AI SOC Agent and other security solutions to help Japanese organizations establish next-generation, AI-powered Security Operations Centers (SOCs). As cyberattacks grow more sophisticated and increasingly leverage artificial intelligence, organizations face mounting challenges in detecting and responding to threats. Many companies struggle with overwhelming volumes of security data, tight response timelines, and a severe shortage of skilled cybersecurity professionals. Traditional SOC operations are often constrained by human limitations and high workloads, making it difficult to maintain consistent threat detection and response. To address these challenges, SB C&S will launch the Simbian AI SOC Agent in Japan. The solution features a suite of autonomous AI agents designed for specific security tasks such as incident response, threat hunting, and penetration testing. These agents operate within a unified architecture that enables collaboration through a shared data layer called the Simbian Context Lake, allowing them to work together seamlessly and efficiently. Key features of the Simbian AI SOC Agent include: Autonomous Multi-Agent Architecture: Multiple specialized AI agents operate as a coordinated team, sharing insights and acting in concert to strengthen overall security posture. Orchestrated and Optimized LLMs: The system intelligently selects and combines the most appropriate large language models (LLMs) for each task while using a dedicated Trusted LLM layer to prevent hallucinations and safeguard sensitive data. Full Transparency and Control: Unlike opaque AI systems, Simbian provides clear visibility into the AI’s decision-making process and actions through an intuitive graphical interface, enabling security teams to monitor, validate, and refine AI behavior. Multi-Tenant and On-Premises Support: The solution supports centralized management across multiple environments, ideal for managed security service providers and global enterprises, while on-premises deployment ensures compliance with data privacy regulations. Localized Japan Market Support: Simbian now offers SaaS services hosted in Japanese data centers, a fully localized Japanese-language user interface, and expanded local technical support, ensuring a seamless experience for Japanese customers. Hiroaki Yamana, General Manager of the Network & Security Promotion Division at SB C&S Corp., said the partnership is a key step in modernizing Japan’s cybersecurity infrastructure. He highlighted the growing threat landscape and the urgent need for AI-driven automation to overcome talent shortages and improve response speed and accuracy. Kosuke Ito, Japan Country Manager at Simbian, expressed pride in partnering with SB C&S, a leader in Japan’s technology ecosystem. He emphasized the shared vision of advancing AI for societal benefit and strengthening defenses against increasingly intelligent cyber threats. The collaboration aims to empower Japanese businesses with smarter, faster, and more sustainable security operations, setting a new standard for AI-driven cybersecurity in the region.
