Apple is reportedly advancing the development of a trio of AI-powered wearable devices, aiming to strengthen its position in the rapidly evolving smart wearables market. According to Bloomberg, the company is accelerating work on an AI-enabled pendant, smart glasses, and next-generation AirPods—all designed to integrate deeply with the iPhone and leverage Siri as a central part of the user experience. The first device in the lineup is a small, AirTag-sized pendant with built-in cameras, which could be pinned to clothing. This wearable is intended to capture visual data and support AI-driven features, such as real-time object recognition, contextual assistance, and enhanced photo and video capture. The idea is to create a discreet, always-on device that complements the user’s daily life with intelligent, on-the-go functionality. Alongside the pendant, Apple is also pushing forward with its smart glasses project, codenamed N50. Bloomberg reports that Apple is targeting the start of production as early as December, with a public release potentially arriving in 2027.
