NVIDIA, CrowdStrike Launch SafeMind Agentic Cybersecurity System

At CrowdStrike’s Fal.Con 2026 in Las Vegas on Tuesday, NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang and CrowdStrike founder George Kurtz unveiled SafeMind, a new agentic cybersecurity platform designed to counter rapidly escalating AI-driven threats. With automated cybercrime breakout times now reaching just 27 seconds and AI-enabled attacks surging 89 percent over the past year, the industry requires defenses that operate at machine speed. SafeMind addresses this gap by fusing offensive and defensive artificial intelligence into a continuous coevolution framework. Built on NVIDIA’s open-source Nemotron foundation models, SafeMind leverages Nemotron 3 Ultra to orchestrate defensive agents and Nemotron 3 Super, internally designated Blue Solano, to power rule-generation sub-agents. CrowdStrike post-trained these models using over fifteen years of proprietary threat intelligence and security telemetry. This approach yielded a defensive model that maintains higher accuracy than leading commercial frontier systems while operating at ninety-nine percent lower cost. Crucially, the system avoids data exfiltration by training entirely within CrowdStrike’s infrastructure, a vital requirement for regulated sectors. The platform’s architecture separates the underlying large language model from its functional harnesses. Huang described the harness as an exoskeleton that transforms general-purpose models into specialized security agents, allowing enterprises to deploy custom configurations tailored to specific operational environments. Alongside SafeMind, CrowdStrike introduced Falcon IQ, an agentic workload automation tool powered by the company’s Charlotte AI AgentWorks platform. Falcon IQ coordinates a network of over fifty specialized agents to streamline threat assessment, prioritization, and remediation, enabling security teams to execute complex workflows without coding. The company also expanded its Guardian AI safety initiative to govern autonomous decision-making. To validate SafeMind’s efficacy, NVIDIA and CrowdStrike conducted high-fidelity adversarial testing using a digital twin of NVIDIA’s own accelerated computing infrastructure. In this simulated environment, red-team offensive agents continuously probe for vulnerabilities while blue-team defensive agents generate, validate, and deploy countermeasures. The iterative cat-and-mouse process hardens detection capabilities in real time, ensuring the system adapts to emerging attack vectors without human intervention. The collaboration underscores a broader strategic shift in enterprise cybersecurity. By integrating accelerated computing hardware, foundational models, and domain-specific agentic software, NVIDIA and CrowdStrike have engineered a vertically aligned defense stack capable of processing trillions of daily security events. Kurtz emphasized that the true competitive advantage lies in the community of security experts who continuously refine these systems, creating an asymmetric defense capability. As automated threats grow more sophisticated, SafeMind establishes a new operational baseline where AI agents continuously learn, adapt, and neutralize threats before human analysts can even document them.
