Roborock Unveils Concept 4-in-1 Cleaning Combo: Washer, Dryer, and Robot Vacuum Dock in One

Roborock’s standout announcement at IFA 2025 is a surprising and ambitious new concept: a washer and dryer that doubles as a dedicated docking station for a robot vacuum. Dubbed the 4-in-1 Household Cleaning Combo for now, the device currently has no official release date or price, but it’s already one of the most intriguing ideas on display at the Berlin technology show. The core of the system is based on Roborock’s Zeo One, a smart washer and dryer featuring a sleek glass front panel with a hidden control interface at the top. The Zeo One comes packed with automation features, including a self-clearing lint system, automatic detergent dispensing, and full smart control through the Roborock app. What sets the 4-in-1 Combo apart is its built-in vacuum cavity. At the bottom of the appliance, a small trapdoor opens to reveal a dedicated space where a robot vacuum can dock, charge, and even empty its dustbin automatically. When cleaning time comes, the trapdoor slides open and the vacuum deploys to sweep the floors, then returns to its cave to recharge and reset—creating a seamless, self-contained cleaning ecosystem. During the demo, the device used a Roborock Saros 10, a robot vacuum with mopping capabilities. However, a company representative confirmed that the system would be compatible with other supported Roborock vacuums, with firmware updates enabling integration. The front panel is removable, giving users access to the vacuum’s dustbin, which sits just above the docking cavity. While the 4-in-1 Household Cleaning Combo is still a concept rather than a finalized product, Roborock is gauging market interest. The company noted that the idea could move forward depending on how well the Zeo One performs and how consumers respond to the vision of a fully integrated home cleaning hub. For many, the concept evokes a futuristic dream—especially fans of sci-fi, with its nod to The Fifth Element’s iconic robot vacuum monologue. As someone who can’t stop imagining a world where your laundry and floor cleaning are handled by a single, intelligent system, this idea feels less like a gimmick and more like a glimpse into the future of smart homes.
