Lenovo and NVIDIA Launch Gigawatt AI Factories Program to Accelerate Enterprise AI Deployment with Liquid-Cooled Infrastructure and Full-Stack Solutions

Lenovo has unveiled the Lenovo AI Cloud Gigafactory in collaboration with NVIDIA, marking a major step forward in accelerating enterprise AI adoption. The announcement was made during Tech World @ CES 2026 at Sphere in Las Vegas, where Lenovo Chairman and CEO Yuanqing Yang joined NVIDIA founder and CEO Jensen Huang to introduce the new gigawatt-scale AI factory program. The initiative aims to help AI cloud providers deploy next-generation AI workloads faster by enabling rapid transition from concept to production. With the rise of trillion-parameter agentic AI, physical AI, and high-performance computing applications, the ability to deliver AI intelligence quickly and efficiently has become critical. A key metric in this race is Time to First Token (TTFT), which measures how swiftly AI compute investments translate into operational AI systems. The Lenovo AI Cloud Gigafactory with NVIDIA combines ready-to-use components, industrialized build processes, and expert guidance to reduce deployment timelines from months to weeks. This allows providers to rapidly deliver customized, revenue-generating AI solutions at scale. At the core of the program is Lenovo’s Neptune liquid cooling technology, integrated with NVIDIA’s accelerated computing platforms. The collaboration leverages Lenovo’s global manufacturing and full lifecycle Hybrid AI Factory Services to deliver purpose-built, liquid-cooled hybrid AI infrastructure. This includes the Lenovo GB300 NVL72 system—a rack-scale platform featuring 72 NVIDIA Blackwell Ultra GPUs and 36 NVIDIA Grace CPUs—designed for extreme performance and efficiency. The program also supports NVIDIA’s new Vera Rubin NVL72 system, a flagship rack-scale AI supercomputer that unifies 72 Rubin GPUs, 36 Vera CPUs, ConnectX-9 SuperNICs, BlueField-4 DPUs, and Spectrum-X Ethernet. It incorporates advanced networking via NVIDIA Spectrum-6 and Photonics Ethernet switches, enabling ultra-low-latency communication essential for large-scale AI training and inference. Beyond hardware, the partnership delivers AI-native platforms and reusable solutions through the Lenovo AI Library, integrated with NVIDIA AI Enterprise and open Nemotron models. These tools simplify deployment of specialized horizontal and vertical AI applications across industries. Lenovo powers eight of the world’s top ten public cloud providers and is the only company offering end-to-end control—from in-house design and manufacturing to global integration and services. By combining NVIDIA’s cutting-edge AI accelerators with Lenovo’s liquid-cooling expertise and global reach, the program enables faster, more reliable, and scalable AI factory deployment. The result is a streamlined path from AI investment to real-world outcomes, helping organizations embed AI into their core operations more quickly and effectively. With a complete portfolio of full-stack hybrid AI factory solutions, Lenovo and NVIDIA are setting a new standard for how AI infrastructure is built, deployed, and operated in the age of intelligent systems.
