AtScale Bolsters Leadership with New CPO and VP of Customer Success Post-Strategic Investment

AtScale, a leader in governed semantic layer technology for enterprise AI and analytics, has expanded its executive leadership team with the appointments of Luis Maldonado as Chief Product Officer and Amy Miller as Vice President of Customer Success. The moves follow a strategic equity investment round led by Snowflake Ventures and signal the company’s next phase of growth as demand for AI-ready data infrastructure accelerates across enterprises. Luis Maldonado brings over 30 years of experience building and scaling enterprise software, with a focus on data and analytics platforms for the past 15 years. Most recently, he served as Vice President of Product at dbt Labs. Prior to that, he held product leadership roles at Amazon Web Services, Sqrrl Data (acquired by AWS), and Akamai Technologies. AtScale CEO Chris Lynch praised Maldonado’s track record in delivering scalable, disciplined enterprise platforms, noting his expertise is critical as the company builds durable systems for AI infrastructure. Maldonado will lead AtScale’s global product strategy and roadmap, driving innovation in semantic modeling, performance optimization, and AI integration. He emphasized the importance of trusted business logic in enabling reliable, large-scale AI systems and expressed enthusiasm for building the semantic foundation enterprises need to deploy AI with confidence. Amy Miller joins AtScale with more than two decades of experience leading global customer success and enterprise data platform organizations. She previously led Customer Success and Database Engineering teams at Amazon Web Services, supporting services like Amazon Redshift and Amazon Aurora, and worked closely with enterprise clients to operationalize large-scale data platforms. Before AWS, she held leadership roles at Micro Focus, Vertica Systems, and Hewlett-Packard, beginning her career in technical support and engineering at Oracle. Lynch highlighted Miller’s proven ability to build customer-centric organizations at scale, essential as enterprises rely more on governed semantic layers to drive AI and analytics success. Miller will lead AtScale’s global customer success organization, focused on accelerating adoption and ensuring measurable, sustainable value for customers. She noted that customer success goes beyond onboarding—it’s about enabling long-term outcomes. AtScale’s role in modern data environments makes it a strategic partner in helping organizations operationalize AI and analytics with clarity and control. The leadership appointments are part of a broader executive expansion following the Snowflake Ventures-led investment. AtScale is continuing to strengthen its leadership team to support global growth, enterprise adoption, and category leadership as semantic layers become foundational to AI and data-driven decision-making.
