GSA and ServiceNow Launch Landmark OneGov Deal to Accelerate AI-Driven Government Modernization with Up to 70% Discounts on AI-Powered IT Services
The U.S. General Services Administration (GSA) has announced a landmark OneGov agreement with ServiceNow to accelerate AI-driven modernization across federal government operations. The deal is designed to boost workflow efficiencies by up to 30%, deliver substantial cost savings, and simplify the adoption of intelligent automation through a streamlined licensing model for eligible federal agencies. Under the agreement, federal customers can access ServiceNow’s AI Platform at deeply discounted rates—up to 70% off list prices for upgrades to the ITSM Pro and ITSM Pro Plus bundle, available through September 2028. Agencies also have the option to upgrade to a standalone version of ITSM Pro at a 40% discount, effective through September 2026. These offerings include advanced features such as predictive analytics, process mining, workforce optimization, and AI-powered virtual agents. The new licensing model supports both FedRAMP High (IL4) and National Security Cloud (IL5) environments, ensuring secure deployment across sensitive government systems. The agreement aligns with President Trump’s Executive Order on procurement consolidation and GSA’s broader OneGov Strategy, which aims to reduce complexity, enhance collaboration, and drive faster, more efficient IT modernization. GSA Acting Administrator Michael Rigas emphasized the transformative potential of the partnership, stating the government is committed to operating with the efficiency and agility of a top-tier business. “This partnership with ServiceNow will be instrumental in streamlining government technology, driving efficiency, and unlocking significant taxpayer savings,” he said. Federal Acquisition Service Commissioner Josh Gruenbaum highlighted the strategic importance of the deal in advancing the administration’s AI priorities. “We are excited to partner with ServiceNow as we work to accelerate federal innovation and efficiency with a powerful, AI-first platform to connect and streamline the government’s technology stack,” he said. Bill McDermott, chairman and CEO of ServiceNow, underscored the platform’s role as an “AI control tower” for government transformation. “Our AI platform and solutions will help every federal agency consolidate the past, strengthen security, and deliver better outcomes for the American people,” he said. ServiceNow’s AI capabilities already support more than 200 million government tasks annually, helping agencies automate workflows, improve service delivery, and modernize legacy systems. The platform enables agencies to transition from reactive to proactive operations through intelligent automation and real-time insights. The agreement supports the White House’s America’s AI Action Plan by providing federal agencies with direct access to a mission-ready AI platform. With faster deployment, enhanced collaboration, and significant cost reductions, the OneGov deal marks a major step forward in modernizing federal IT infrastructure and improving services for citizens.
