Riverside Launches AI Newsletter Publishing Feature For Creators

Riverside, the video and podcast recording platform, has expanded its ecosystem by introducing an integrated newsletter publishing feature. The update enables creators to convert existing recordings into polished newsletters using artificial intelligence, eliminating the need to draft content from scratch. Chief Executive Nadav Keyson noted that the tool addresses a common creator bottleneck: transforming information-dense spoken conversations into written formats is often more efficient than starting on a blank page. Users may also compose original newsletters natively within the application. Alongside the newsletter capability, Riverside has rolled out significant infrastructure and AI enhancements. The platform now supports multi-camera recording setups and seamless integration of remote guests. AI-driven utilities include automatic first-cut drafting post-recording, generation of platform-specific social media hooks, and a conversational-video-optimized enhancement feature that refines lighting, depth, and sharpness. The move positions Riverside within a broader industry shift toward integrated publishing and audience monetization. Having secured more than $60 million in funding, the company is responding to a landscape where content platforms continuously cross-pollinate features. Recent industry developments include Substack launching a native recording studio in March, Beehiiv expanding into podcasting the following month, and Mastodon implementing newsletter publishing in June. By embedding newsletter distribution directly into its recording workflow, Riverside aims to streamline the creator journey from capture to publication, strengthening its competitive positioning in the digital content infrastructure market.
