Fambot Launches AI Chief of Staff to Manage Family Logistics

Silicon Valley startup Fambot has unveiled an artificial intelligence platform designed to function as a chief of staff for modern families. Founded by chief executive David Reich, chief technology officer Greg Karlin, and co-founder Jason Morrow, the company addresses the administrative burden that caregivers face when managing childrens schedules, school communications, and household logistics. The platform emerged from Reichs personal experience balancing executive responsibilities with family life, recognizing that fragmented digital tools fail to consolidate the relentless stream of alerts, emails, and activity updates that define contemporary parenting. Fambot operates by syncing with users primary email, calendar, and WhatsApp groups to generate a proactive daily checklist and forecast upcoming obligations. The system employs a multi-model AI architecture that processes information without training on customer data, ensuring strict privacy boundaries. Unlike text-only conversational agents currently popular in the market, Fambot delivers its functionality through a dedicated web and mobile application. This interface-first approach enables more complex task management, calendar integration, and future expansion into school, sports, and club-specific platforms. The founders envision the service evolving into a centralized command hub for family operations. During a closed beta involving over one thousand households, the company observed that demand extends beyond dual-income families to single-parent households and varied domestic arrangements. The product directly targets an estimated forty-three million American families with children under sixteen, many of whom lack dedicated administrative support. Early testing confirmed that the AIs predictive capabilities help users anticipate scheduling conflicts and reduce time spent on digital triage. The initiative is supported by a three-point-five-million-dollar pre-seed round co-led by NextView Ventures and Baukunst, with additional participation from Correlation Ventures, Karman Ventures, and Founders Network. Fambot is currently available at no cost across iOS, Android, and desktop platforms. While beta pricing remains unrestricted, the company plans to introduce a subscription tier estimated to align with the cost of major streaming services. The launch marks a strategic pivot in the AI agent sector, shifting focus from generalized digital assistants to specialized, high-frequency domestic productivity tools.
