NVIDIA Partners with Indian Manufacturers and Global Software Leaders to Accelerate AI-Driven Industrial Transformation
India is undergoing a transformative phase in industrialization, driven by artificial intelligence as the country invests $134 billion in new manufacturing capacity across construction, automotive, renewable energy, and robotics. This expansion presents a unique opportunity to build software-defined factories from the ground up, powered by cutting-edge AI technologies. At the heart of this shift are NVIDIA’s CUDA-X and Omniverse libraries, which enable seamless integration of data across design, simulation, and operations, bringing physical AI into real-world industrial environments. India’s largest manufacturers are partnering with global industrial software leaders—Siemens, Cadence, and Synopsys—to leverage NVIDIA-accelerated platforms and accelerate innovation. These collaborations are enabling smarter, faster, and more efficient production systems. Reliance New Energy, part of Reliance Industries, is deepening its collaboration with NVIDIA and Siemens by combining Siemens’ digital twin technology with NVIDIA Omniverse for advanced simulation and plant design in its next-generation gigafactories. This integration allows for more accurate planning and faster deployment of large-scale clean energy infrastructure. Addverb Technologies, a pioneer in warehouse automation, is using Siemens’ Technomatix portfolio, NVIDIA Omniverse, and NVIDIA Cosmos world foundation models to create digital twins of its facilities. These virtual environments are used to train quadruped and wheeled humanoid robots, improving performance and safety before real-world deployment. Hero MotoCorp is utilizing Siemens Xcelerator and NVIDIA’s AI infrastructure to streamline its product development. The integration enhances computer-aided engineering, virtual verification, and validation, significantly reducing time-to-market for new vehicle models. In the electronics sector, leading companies are adopting AI-powered design tools from Synopsys and Cadence, accelerated by NVIDIA’s AI platforms. Havells India Limited is using Synopsys’ Ansys Fluent with NVIDIA CUDA-X to achieve six times faster fluid dynamics simulations, enabling more design iterations and improved energy efficiency. Larsen and Toubro Semiconductor is using Cadence Spectre X, powered by CUDA-X, on the NVIDIA Blackwell-based Millennium M2000 supercomputer to drastically shorten the design cycle for advanced AI chips. India’s IT and consulting sector, already a global force with projected revenues exceeding $350 billion this year, is playing a pivotal role in driving industrial AI. Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is deploying the NVIDIA Metropolis platform, NVIDIA Blueprint for video analytics, and Omniverse-based digital twins to enhance safety and quality at Tata Motors. By transforming standard camera feeds into intelligent sensors, TCS enables automated quality checks and real-time compliance monitoring. TCS is also using physical AI, including autonomous inspections via quadruped robots, to reduce risks in complex manufacturing environments. Wipro PARI is integrating NVIDIA AI infrastructure, Omniverse, and the Isaac robotics platform to deliver robust automation solutions for automotive and consumer clients, including real-time simulation and virtual stress testing of robotic workflows. Tata Consulting Engineers has launched its Cognitive Twin platform, built on NVIDIA Omniverse, to create real-time digital twins of industrial assets. The platform supports decision-making across manufacturing, energy, and infrastructure projects. Pilot implementations are underway with National High Speed Rail Corporation Limited, Torrent Power, and Power Grid Corporation of India Limited. These advancements highlight how AI is reshaping India’s industrial landscape, turning factories into intelligent, adaptive systems. The convergence of industrial software, digital twins, and physical AI is laying the foundation for a new era of smart manufacturing across the nation.
