RUCKUS Networks Launches AI-Powered Wi-Fi 7 Solutions for MDUs, Enhancing Resident Experience and Reducing Operational Costs
CommScope, a global leader in network connectivity, has unveiled its new RUCKUS® MDU (Multi-Dwelling Unit) suite, introducing AI-powered innovations and Wi-Fi 7 capabilities designed to enhance resident experiences and reduce operational costs for MDU stakeholders. Built on the AI-driven RUCKUS One platform, the suite includes the new RUCKUS Digital System Engineer (DSE) AI assistant and advanced Wi-Fi 7 access points, delivering intelligent network management and integrated connectivity solutions tailored for residential properties. The RUCKUS MDU 360 capability combines enterprise-grade Wi-Fi analytics with cloud simplicity and automation, enabling higher device density per unit, ultra-low latency, improved reliability, and reduced reliance on manual troubleshooting. These advancements support smoother operations and contribute to greater resident satisfaction while helping property operators and managed service providers (MSPs) streamline network management. At the core of the new suite is the RUCKUS DSE AI assistant, an intelligent chat-based tool that transforms complex network data into natural-language interactions. Instead of navigating through menus or generating reports, users can simply ask questions—such as “What’s the network health score for Building A?” or “Show me SLA performance trends for last quarter”—and receive immediate, data-driven answers. The assistant automatically generates dashboards, visualizes insights through charts and widgets, and delivers actionable recommendations—all without requiring specialized technical expertise. This conversational interface makes the RUCKUS One platform accessible to a broader range of users, from novice administrators to experienced network engineers. Stakeholders can now drill down from high-level portfolio overviews to detailed resident experience scores and historical service-level performance for individual units, all through intuitive, voice- or text-based queries. Bart Giordano, SVP and President of RUCKUS Networks, highlighted the strategic importance of the new suite: “Our RUCKUS MDU suite reflects our leadership in AI innovation and our deep expertise in Wi-Fi 7 for multi-dwelling environments. It empowers owners, operators, and MSPs to build and manage high-performance networks with greater ease and intelligence. The ability to get real-time insights through simple conversation marks a major leap forward in network automation and user experience.” The RUCKUS MDU Suite will be demonstrated at OPTECH, booth 204, in Las Vegas, Nevada, from November 17 to 19.
