HyperAI Has Completed Security Maintenance

Thank you all for your continued trust in and support of HyperAI!
The recent cluster maintenance work carried out by HyperAI has now been completed, and the related computing resources have gradually returned to normal use. The situation of GPU resources being fully loaded has been significantly alleviated. We sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused during the maintenance period to everyone in obtaining computing resources and arranging computing tasks, and we also thank you for your patience and understanding.
Through this announcement, we would like to explain to everyone the background of this maintenance, its impact, the work that has been completed, and the adjustments to the Free CPU resource usage rules.
Recently, we discovered that some users abused HyperAI Free CPU resources and attempted to sniff the platform's internal environment. The platform's security protection mechanisms promptly detected and intercepted the related behavior, and there was no impact on user data or computing tasks.
In order to further investigate potential security risks, strengthen platform security protection, and improve the stability of cluster operation and resource scheduling, we carried out security maintenance and upgrades on the relevant nodes. During the maintenance period, some nodes were temporarily unavailable, resulting in a reduction in the platform's available computing resources, some GPU resources being fully loaded, and affecting some users' ability to obtain the required computing resources in a timely manner. At present, the related maintenance work has been completed, and the computing resources affected by the maintenance have successively resumed use.
While completing security maintenance, in order to reduce the abuse of free resources and support the stable operation of the platform, effective from the date of publication of this announcement, the HyperAI Free CPU resource configuration and maximum single continuous runtime will be adjusted as follows:
| Adjustment Item | Before Adjustment | After Adjustment |
|---|---|---|
| Number of CPU cores | 8 cores | 2 cores |
| Memory | 16 GB | 4 GB |
| Maximum single continuous runtime for regular users | 12 hours | 2 hours |
| Maximum single continuous runtime for members | 24 hours | 8 hours |
Please arrange your computing tasks reasonably according to the new resource configuration and runtime limits. For users who subscribed to Pro membership before the publication of this announcement, we have already issued Free CPU adjustment compensation to their accounts. Please check and receive it in a timely manner.
Protecting user data security and ensuring the stability of computing services is a responsibility HyperAI continues to uphold. We will continue to monitor platform security and cluster operation, improve security protection mechanisms, optimize resource scheduling, and provide developers and researchers with secure and stable AI computing services.
Once again, thank you all for your trust in and support of HyperAI.
