Zhang Hongbo:He is currently the chief scientist of the Basic Software Center and the person in charge of the Moonbit platform. He is the author of the general programming language ReScript and the former core developer of the programming language OCaml. He graduated from the Department of Electronics of Tsinghua University and was invited by Bloomberg to develop functional language compilers while studying for a doctorate at the University of Pennsylvania.

Wang Xuerui:He is a contributor to open source infrastructure and a current Linux maintainer. He has been involved in well-known community projects such as binutils, glibc, LLVM, QEMU, Rust, and Go. He is currently the technical leader of the RuyiSDK package manager in the RuyiSDK team.

Wang Xin:An Intel programming language and runtime technology expert, he was responsible for the development of Intel Micro Runtime, a Java language high-security runtime, and created the open source project WebAssembly Micro Runtime and served as the chairman of the technical committee. He is one of the main founders of the open source project Wasmnizer-ts. Wang Xin is one of the main initiators of the Bytecode Alliance Embedded SIG, actively promoting the development of WebAssembly technology and specifications on devices and edges.

Cheng Longcan:Open source community manager of the RuyiSDK team. He was responsible for the testing of the openEuler RISC-V distribution. He is currently responsible for the testing of the RevyOS team of the RuyiSDK team and serves as the open source community manager.

Project Introduction

MoonBit is the first industrial-grade programming language in China and its supporting tool chain (https://www.moonbitlang.cn/) is an AI-native programming language and developer platform created by the Basic Software Center of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Digital Economy Research Institute (Futian). Since its launch in October 2022, MoonBit has formed a latecomer advantage in the programming language community through an innovative framework, and has achieved significant advantages in compilation speed, running speed, and program size. The MoonBit platform has emerged not only as a programming language, but also provides a complete development tool chain, including IDE, compiler, build system, package manager, etc.

RuyiSDK is an open source software project (https://ruyisdk.org/), aims to provide a comprehensive development environment for RISC-V software developers. Through RuyiSDK, developers can generate the operating system, tool chain, language execution environment (runtime or virtual machine), computing library, application framework, etc. required by customers. In addition, RuyiSDK is also committed to cultivating and operating an active and comprehensive developer exchange community to promote technical support and resource sharing, and promote the development of the RISC-V ecosystem. At present, RuyiSDK supports nearly 50 development boards at home and abroad.

RevyOS is a customized Debian distribution optimized for the T-Head chip ecosystem, supported and developed by the RevyOS team of the RuyiSDK team. RevyOS provides comprehensive adaptation and optimization support for c906fdv, c910v, c908 and other chips, integrates support for RVV0.7.1 and XThead GCC toolchain by default, and is equipped with glibc and kernel optimized for RVV0.7.1 instruction set.
