The MSU Video Quality Metrics Benchmark dataset is created for the task of video quality assessment. The dataset consists of 36 video clips from Vimeo, which are selected from more than 18,000 high-bitrate open-source video clips.

This dataset includes videos recorded by both professionals and amateurs. Almost half of the videos contain scene changes and high dynamics.

To enhance the relevance of the results, each video pair received responses from at least 10 participants. In total, 766,362 valid responses from 10,800 participants were collected.
