IJB-C, the full name of IARPA Janus Benchmark-C, is a face recognition video dataset. The dataset contains approximately 138,000 face images, 11,000 face videos, and 10,000 non-face images. The dataset includes images and a list of names. The list of names includes 3,531 people, many of whom are activists, artists, journalists, foreign politicians, and public speakers.

This dataset is an extension of the IJB-A dataset and the IJB-B dataset. IJB-C adds 1,661 new objects to the 1,870 objects released in IJB-B, with a greater emphasis on occlusion and diversity of occupational and geographic origin of objects, aiming to improve representation of the global population. The image annotations in the IJB-C dataset have been expanded to allow further covariance analysis and include a spatial occlusion grid to standardize occlusion analysis.
