Frequentist
Frequency SchoolThe frequency school believes that the world is deterministic and that there is an ontology with unchanging truth value. The goal of the frequency school is to find the truth value or its range. The frequency school believes that there must be some deep generation mechanism behind random events. Although the event itself is random, this mechanism is deterministic.
Different from the frequency school is the Bayesian school. The former is consistent with the materialist view that mechanisms determine results. Although the encouraged results are random, the results of a large number of random experiments must contain definite information about the mechanism. The latter is consistent with the idealist view that the observer is the main body. The observer's belief in the mechanism will change with the result, but the result is a definite value.
