Embodied Navigation
Embodied Navigation (EN) is a new navigation paradigm proposed by Tsinghua University, Peking University and other universities on March 13, 2025. The relevant paper results are "Embodied navigation".
Embodied navigation allows mobile objects to interact with the physical world, thereby acquiring local maps, locating objects, and optimizing navigation routes accordingly. The research team conducted a systematic and comprehensive review of research in the field of embodied navigation, covering key aspects such as perception, navigation, and efficiency optimization. In addition to progress in these areas, the team also explored emerging tasks spawned by embodied navigation, which require flexible mobility in diverse and ever-changing environments.
