Self-Driving

Self-driving cars do not require human operation. They use systems to sense the surrounding environment and navigate. Currently, fully self-driving cars have not yet been commercialized. Most of them are still prototypes and demonstration systems, and some reliable technologies have just been transferred to mass-produced models.

Autonomous vehicles use technologies such as lidar, optical radar, GPS and computer vision to sense the surrounding environment, and the control system converts the sensor data into appropriate navigation information, obstacles and related signs.

By definition, autonomous vehicles update map information with input data, allowing the vehicle to continue to track its location even as conditions change or it enters unknown environments.
