Glow has emerged from stealth as a unicorn, securing $180 million in a Series A funding round at a $1.2 billion valuation. The Palo Alto-based cybersecurity startup aims to redefine endpoint security for the artificial intelligence era by shifting focus from threat detection to proactive prevention. Backed by an investment syndicate including Sequoia Capital, Cyberstarts, Greenoaks, Redpoint Ventures, Index Ventures, Lux Capital, Operator Collective, and Holly Ventures, the raise positions Glow among the latest deep-tech ventures to achieve unicorn status prior to public revenue disclosure. Founded in 2025 by former Meta, Snowflake, and Claroty executives, Glow develops an AI-native platform designed to monitor, map, and secure the rapidly expanding attack surface of modern employee devices. The startup’s leadership includes CEO Roi Tiger, formerly Meta’s vice president of engineering, co-founder Omer Singer, former Snowflake cybersecurity strategy head, and co-founder Ophir Arie, ex-Claroty vice president of research and development. Chief Operating Officer Emily Heath brings extensive experience from United Airlines, DocuSign, and Wiz, while engineering leadership is anchored by former Meta executive Arnon Joseph. The platform addresses a critical industry shift as enterprises onboard generative AI tools directly onto endpoints while threat actors leverage AI to automate phishing, develop malware, and exploit software vulnerabilities. Unlike legacy endpoint detection and response solutions that prioritize identifying breaches after they occur, Glow’s architecture intercepts risky software, unauthorized AI agents, and unvetted developer tools before they integrate into corporate environments. The system utilizes specialized AI agents running Anthropic and Google Gemini models via Amazon Bedrock, enhanced by a proprietary layer that injects enterprise-specific context to improve accuracy and reduce false positives. Early validation indicates strong market demand, with paying customers across healthcare, retail, and financial services. Deployments currently manage tens of thousands of devices globally, with the platform already blocking malicious npm packages, detecting rogue AI agent activity, and identifying devices operating with compromised security tools. Glow maintains a lean workforce of approximately one hundred employees, with roughly seventy percent based in Israel and the remainder in the United States. Entry into the endpoint security market places Glow in direct competition with incumbents such as CrowdStrike, Microsoft, SentinelOne, and Palo Alto Networks.
