A comprehensive new study examining the media landscape surrounding artificial intelligence has uncovered a deeply stratified narrative structure within global news coverage. Researchers analyzed more than 43,000 English-language newspaper articles to map how journalistic framing allocates authority across the AI ecosystem. Consequently, the persistent omission of diverse geographic and institutional perspectives risks narrowing the conversation around AI governance and deployment.
