TMC Acquires TMG to Strengthen Microsoft ERP, CRM, and AI Capabilities Amid Strategic Growth

Technology Management Concepts (TMC) has announced the acquisition of The TM Group (TMG), marking a strategic move to strengthen its capabilities in Microsoft ERP, CRM, Power Platform, and cloud solutions. The merger enhances TMC’s ability to deliver modern data, automation, and AI-driven services while expanding its depth in enterprise systems and customer support. Jennifer Harris, CEO of TMC, described the acquisition as a natural progression of a long-term vision to build a next-generation Microsoft partner. “Our customers trust us with systems that run their businesses. In a world moving fast with AI and automation, that responsibility only grows. This combination gives us more depth, stronger governance, and a broader skillset—while keeping what makes us unique: we stay close, we stay accountable, and we care.” Judy Thomas, founder of TMG, emphasized the cultural alignment between the two organizations. “TMG has always been built on relationships and a long-term commitment to our customers. Joining TMC allows us to continue that legacy while giving our clients access to deeper Microsoft expertise and a larger team that can support where technology is going—not just where it’s been.” The combined organization will maintain a boutique, client-focused model while expanding its service offerings. TMC’s vision centers on building a responsible, modern Microsoft partner that blends industry experience, financial and operational expertise, and advanced capabilities in data, AI, cybersecurity, and infrastructure. The company plans to grow its services in data and reporting, cybersecurity, and cloud infrastructure while reinforcing governance and delivery across all engagements. Rather than adopting a large-scale consulting firm model, TMC aims to remain adaptable and deeply engaged with clients. The acquisition brings decades of ERP expertise, trusted customer relationships, and a broader talent pool to support clients through rapid technological change. Over the next one to two years, TMC will focus on helping customers modernize responsibly—aligning ERP, CRM, and Power Platform transformations with secure, scalable data, security, and cloud foundations necessary for AI and automation. The goal is to deliver real outcomes while preserving the human partnership model that has defined both companies. “My vision is to build a Microsoft partner that is both deeply responsible and deeply innovative,” Harris said. “Our customers trust us with their financial and operational systems. In the age of AI and automation, that trust matters more than ever. We’re building a firm that can govern complexity, deliver real outcomes, and evolve with customers—without losing the human partnership model that made us successful.” Technology Management Concepts, founded in 1987 and headquartered in El Segundo, California, is a Microsoft-focused consulting firm specializing in ERP/CRM, Power Platform, and cloud solutions. The TM Group, founded in 1984 and based in Novi, Michigan, is a trusted advisor for organizations using Microsoft business applications, known for its relationship-driven approach and long-term support.
