A Flex Window shortcut on the Galaxy Z Flip8 allows direct activation via the power button. Additionally, Gemini now employs advanced screen reasoning to interpret complex images and visual prompts. Users can supply a shopping list or reference photo, after which the AI executes tasks sequentially in the background. Progress remains visible on-screen, and users retain full oversight, with the ability to intervene for refinements before delivering final confirmation notifications. The foldable lineup will also preinstall Gemini Notebook, a dedicated workspace formerly known as NotebookLM, designed for deep research and project synthesis. Leveraging multimodal AI models, the application allows users to drag and drop documents, photos, whiteboard sketches, and voice notes into a split-screen environment on the Z Fold8 series. To accelerate adoption, every Z Fold8 Ultra, Fold8, and Flip8 will include a six-month subscription to Google AI Pro, unlocking premium generative features across the notebook interface. The Galaxy Watch 9 will feature always-ready Gemini access, activating via wrist-raising gestures without requiring wake words. Complementing this, Google and Samsung announced a fall launch for new intelligent eyewear frames developed in collaboration with Gentle Monster and Warby Parker.
