Asia Pacific Firms Leverage AWS Ecosystem to Accelerate GenAI and Cloud Modernization, ISG Report Reveals
Enterprises across Asia Pacific are accelerating their digital transformation by leveraging services from the AWS cloud ecosystem to enhance agility, resilience, and competitiveness, according to the 2025 ISG Provider Lens® AWS Ecosystem Partners report. The research by Information Services Group (ISG), a global AI-centered technology research and advisory firm, highlights how organizations in the region are using AWS and its partner network to scale generative AI initiatives and modernize core operations. The report notes that AWS’s recent infrastructure investments—such as the launch of a new cloud region in Thailand and a major expansion in Australia—are driving faster cloud adoption and improving digital maturity, even amid complex regulatory and economic challenges. Many companies are integrating Amazon AI tools like Amazon Bedrock and SageMaker into their data platforms, shifting AI from a supplementary function to a central component of business strategy. AI is now transforming customer engagement, decision-making, and automation across industries. Enterprises are also building hybrid and multicloud environments to avoid vendor lock-in while maintaining performance and compliance. These environments combine public cloud resources with on-premises systems, supported by automation and orchestration to ensure scalability and reliability. To manage costs and improve accountability, many organizations are adopting FinOps practices. As cloud environments grow more complex, demand for managed services has increased. Companies expect providers to go beyond basic infrastructure management, acting as trusted partners capable of autonomously operating and securing their systems. Leading managed service providers are now focusing on high-value services that support innovation, streamline operations, and enable a culture of experimentation. The report also highlights growing migration of SAP workloads to S/4HANA on AWS, as well as the rising use of industry-specific AI and data solutions tailored to regional compliance and business needs. The 2025 ISG Provider Lens® report evaluates 39 providers across four key quadrants: AWS Professional Services, AWS Managed Services, AWS Enterprise Data Modernization and AI Services, and AWS SAP Workloads. Accenture, Capgemini, Cognizant, DXC Technology, HCLTech, TCS, and Wipro are named Leaders in all four quadrants. PwC is recognized as a Leader in three, Tech Mahindra in two, and Infosys in one.
