The event will introduce an exclusive Windows 11 experience tailored for developers, featuring a distraction-free environment preloaded with commonly used applications, tools, and scripts—directly addressing long-standing developer demands. The Windows team will also showcase further progress in customization improvements and performance optimizations. In artificial intelligence, Microsoft's Head of AI, Mustafa Suleyman, announced the company's first reasoning model, MAI-Thinking-1. Trained without distillation techniques, this model targets enterprise users specifically. Additionally, MAI-Image-2.5 and its variant MAI-Image-2.5-Flash were unveiled. A "super app" Copilot initiative is underway, designed to consolidate multiple Microsoft AI assistants into a single interface, with a preview expected by late summer. Windows will enhance support for emerging hardware such as NVIDIA RTX Spark, enabling developers to leverage local compute power instead of costly cloud-based models. Furthermore, Microsoft continues advancing the Windows on ARM ecosystem alongside Qualcomm to balance competition between two leading ARM chip suppliers.
