Its flagship product, Walker S2, stands approximately 1.75 meters tall and is positioned as a general-purpose robot capable of autonomous operations in industrial settings, similar to Tesla's ongoing Optimus project. Earlier this year, UBTECH partnered with Airbus to deploy Walker S2 on factory assembly lines for testing. According to the recruitment notice, the Chief Scientist will drive technical breakthroughs in the company's humanoid robotics division while expediting deployment across diverse scenarios including manufacturing services, customer service, and home companionship.
