Boomi Agentstudio Drives Rapid Adoption with 50,000+ AI Agents in Production and 300+ Workflow Templates

Boomi has announced rapid adoption of its Boomi Agentstudio, solidifying the Boomi Enterprise Platform as a leading choice for agentic AI at scale. Since its general availability in May 2025, more than 50,000 AI agents have been deployed in production across organizations worldwide, with customers including Lexitas, SPIE, and Avalara already leveraging the platform to transform their operations. The surge in adoption reflects a shift from AI experimentation to real-world implementation. In just months, enterprises have seen a 10X increase in the number of agents created, governed, and deployed, demonstrating the platform’s ability to accelerate AI integration at enterprise scale. John Baker, CIO at Lexitas, highlighted the transformative potential: “Boomi Agentstudio is giving us the opportunity to reimagine what automation could look like in our business. The idea of orchestrating agents that act, adapt, and collaborate across teams excites us beyond traditional task automation.” Boomi’s partner ecosystem is also driving innovation. Leading systems integrators such as Tech Mahindra, Onepoint, Sage IT, and Jade Global have contributed over 300 agentic workflow templates to the Boomi Marketplace. These ready-to-use, validated solutions help organizations quickly address real-world challenges, reducing implementation time and cost. Atul Soneja, COO at Tech Mahindra, emphasized the importance of speed and trust: “As enterprises move from AI experiments to production, the key is governed, measurable, and trustworthy agentic automation. Boomi allows us to deliver proven solutions globally at unmatched speed, with customers benefiting immediately.” Governance remains central to Boomi’s approach. Agentstudio integrates governance directly into its design, offering full lifecycle management, real-time anomaly detection, and monitoring to ensure trust, compliance, and operational control—critical as agents take on mission-critical roles. Nick Patience, Vice President and Practice Lead, AI Platforms at Futurum, noted: “As organizations scale AI agents, governance is no longer optional. Platforms that combine innovation with visibility and control are defining the future of enterprise AI.” Steve Lucas, Chairman and CEO of Boomi, said: “The dual momentum from customers scaling agents and partners delivering solutions shows the power of the Boomi Enterprise Platform. We’re enabling innovation while ensuring trust, control, and enterprise-grade scale.” New capabilities further strengthen Boomi’s leadership. These include cross-provider agent governance through open APIs, allowing enterprises to manage agents from Amazon, Microsoft, Salesforce, and custom sources in a single control tower. Real-time anomaly detection enhances security and reliability, while full support for the Model Context Protocol (MCP) enables seamless discovery and use of compliant tools. Predictable input and output formats ensure smooth orchestration of complex workflows, and 30 days of centralized telemetry logs provide full visibility into agent activity for accountability and compliance. The launch of Agent Step extends Boomi’s platform by embedding AI agents directly into integration processes within the familiar Boomi Process Canvas. This enables real-time, context-aware decision-making, turning static workflows into intelligent, adaptive processes. With these advancements, Boomi continues to lead the evolution of agentic transformation—helping enterprises achieve agility, efficiency, and innovation at scale.
