As digital transformation accelerates across Latin America, so too do the risks posed by cyber threats. With increasing reliance on online services and infrastructure, cybersecurity has become one of the region’s most urgent challenges. In response, Google is committed to strengthening the digital ecosystem by supporting innovative solutions that leverage artificial intelligence to combat emerging threats. To this end, Google has launched its inaugural Google for Startups Accelerator: AI for Cybersecurity program in Latin America, selecting 11 startups from Brazil, Chile, Colombia, and Mexico. The ten-week accelerator offers these early-stage companies access to Google’s expertise, technology, tools, and mentorship to help them scale their AI-driven cybersecurity solutions. The cohort was chosen from a highly competitive pool of applicants across 11 countries, reflecting the region’s growing talent and innovation in the field. These startups are developing advanced technologies to detect, prevent, and respond to cyber threats with greater speed and precision—helping protect individuals, businesses, and governments alike. Through the program, participants will receive tailored guidance from Google engineers and cybersecurity experts, along with technical resources and workshops focused on AI model development, product scalability, and go-to-market strategy.
