Video Summarization
Video summarization aims to generate a concise summary by selecting the most informative and critical parts of a video. These summaries are typically composed of representative video frames (i.e., key frames) or video segments (i.e., key segments) arranged in temporal order, forming a shorter version of the video. A summary made up of key frames is called a video storyboard, while a summary composed of key segments is referred to as a video highlight. This technology has significant application value in content retrieval, quick previewing, and intelligent monitoring.
