Video Salient Object Detection

Video Saliency Object Detection (VSOD) is a key technology for understanding the fundamental mechanisms of the human visual system during free viewing, and it holds significant value for practical applications such as video segmentation, video captioning, video compression, autonomous driving, robot interaction, and weakly supervised attention. This task not only has academic significance but also faces challenges posed by the diverse motion patterns in video data, occlusions, blurriness, and large-scale object deformations, as well as the complexity of human visual attention behavior in dynamic scenes, such as selective attention allocation and attention shifting.
