Valnov

The ValNov task aims to predict the validity and novelty between a given premise and conclusion candidates. Validity refers to the extent to which the conclusion supports the premise based on logical principles, common sense, or world knowledge; if the conclusion merely repeats or summarizes the premise, it is considered invalid. Novelty measures the degree of new content in the conclusion relative to the premise; conclusions that repeat or are irrelevant to the premise lack novelty. This task helps enhance the capability of reasoning and generating innovative content in natural language processing.
