Multilingual Machine Comprehension
Multilingual Machine Comprehension (MMC) is a subtask in natural language processing that focuses on extracting answers to questions from a given text, where the questions and the text may be in different languages. This task pays particular attention to cross-lingual understanding between English and Hindi, aiming to accurately answer questions by referring to relevant information in the text. Its goal is to enhance the machine's reading comprehension and information retrieval capabilities in multilingual environments, which has significant application value, such as multilingual document retrieval and cross-lingual knowledge transfer.
