Jet Tagging

Jet Tagging refers to the process of identifying the type of initial-state particle that produced a jet, which is composed of highly collimated outgoing particles. The task aims to distinguish jets originating from particles of interest, such as Higgs bosons or top quarks, from other less significant types of jets through classification methods. This is of great importance for enhancing the signal-to-background separation capability in particle physics experiments.
