Image Matting

Image matting is a technique for precisely estimating the foreground object in images and videos, which holds significant value in image and video editing applications such as film production. Unlike image segmentation, which classifies pixels into either foreground or background, image matting also deals with partial or mixed pixels by accurately estimating their alpha values, thereby achieving complete separation of the foreground from the background.
