Beam Prediction
The Beam Prediction task aims to determine the optimal beam or beam combination for signal transmission between a base station and user equipment. In mmWave and massive MIMO systems, highly directional beams are used to overcome signal attenuation and ensure high data transmission rates. This task involves analyzing environmental factors, user location, and historical signal data to predict the most suitable beam, thereby avoiding the time-consuming exhaustive search of all possible beams and improving the efficiency and performance of the system.
