Action Detection

Action Detection is a sub-task in the field of computer vision that aims to detect the location and timing of actions occurring in video segments and classify them. This task is achieved by generating action tubes, which are linked action bounding boxes on the video timeline. Action Detection combines the functions of temporal localization and action recognition, capable of accurately marking the start and end frames of actions while determining the type of action, making it valuable for applications such as video surveillance, sports analysis, and human-computer interaction.
