VLDB, short for Very Large Data Bases, is a premier annual international forum for researchers, vendors, practitioners, application developers, and users in data management, scalable data science, and databases. The upcoming VLDB 2027 conference will offer a rich agenda including a series of research presentations, keynote speeches and invited talks, panel discussions, tutorials, demonstrations, industry workshops, and seminars. The conference will cover a wide range of research topics related to all aspects of data management, with systems issues playing a significant role, such as data management system technologies and information management infrastructure, including their large-scale experimentation, novel architectures, and demanding applications, as well as the theoretical foundations supporting these applications.

PVLDB focuses on areas including, but not limited to, data mining and analysis, data privacy and security, database engines, database performance and manageability, distributed database systems, graph and network data, information integration and data quality, languages, machine learning, artificial intelligence and databases, new database architectures, provenance and workflows, specialized and domain-specific data management, text and semi-structured data, and user interfaces. These thematic pillars represent foundational elements of the emerging application technology landscape of the 21st century.
