CSCW 2024

CSCW, the ACM SIGCHI Conference on Computer-Supported Cooperative Work & Social Computing, is the premier venue for research on the design and use of technology that supports or impacts groups, organizations, communities, and networks. CSCW brings together leading researchers and practitioners to explore the technical, social, material, and theoretical challenges of designing technology to support collaborative work and life activities.
CSCW 2024 will explore topics in the socio-technical fields of work, family, education, healthcare, art, design, entertainment, and ethics, including social computing and social media, crowdsourcing and co-located or remote collaboration, communications, educational technology, work articulation, coordination, consciousness, and information sharing. Papers may report novel research findings on system design, development, or analysis, or introduce new approaches to the conceptualization or critical analysis of CSCW systems. Submissions that explore how CSCW systems (including those related to the latest developments in artificial intelligence, machine learning, robotics, and AR/VR) relate to issues of race, Indigenous peoples, gender, and the environment are particularly encouraged.
