VideoBadminton Badminton Video Action Recognition Dataset

VideoBadminton is a high-quality video dataset focused on badminton created by Auburn University and National Central University. The dataset contains badminton video data of 19 male and female athletes from the National Central University team, covering 18 badminton moves, a total of 7,822 video clips, and a total duration of 145 minutes.

The construction of this dataset strictly follows the specifications of the Badminton World Federation (BWF) to ensure the comprehensiveness and professionalism of the action categories. In addition, the dataset also provides detailed annotations of racket trajectories and player positions. VideoBadminton provides rich action categories and more detailed action divisions, aiming to promote the development of action recognition algorithms, especially in understanding and distinguishing subtle action differences.
