CCD stands for Car Crash Datset. It is a video dataset for traffic accident analysis. It contains 1,500 cropped videos from YouTube (50 frames per video, 10 seconds per frame) and 3,000 regular videos from the BDD 100K dataset, which are taken by dashcams.

CCD is different from existing datasets in that it has diverse accident annotations, including environmental attributes (day/night, snowy/rainy/good weather conditions), whether a self-driving vehicle was involved, accident participants, and accident cause descriptions. This is conducive to the development of safe autonomous driving systems.
