ETH3D 3D Reconstruction Evaluation Dataset

ETH stands for Eidgenössische Technische Hochschule Zürich. It is a 3D stereo image dataset containing various indoor and outdoor scenes. These images are collected from different perspectives by SLR cameras and synchronized multi-camera equipment. The ground truth information is collected by a high-precision laser scanner.

Compared to previous datasets, this dataset contains a wider variety of viewpoints and scene types, and its data has higher temporal and spatial resolution. The benchmark of this dataset is the first to cover the important use case of handheld mobile devices while also providing high-resolution SLR camera images.
