EPIC-KITCHENS-55 Kitchen Short Video Dataset

EPIC-KITCHENS-55 is a dataset of short videos of activities in the kitchen. The dataset includes videos of activities related to cooking, food preparation, or dishwashing in the kitchen, and the videos do not have instructional scripts. The dataset contains 432 first-person videos (with head cameras) recorded at 60fps by 32 participants in the kitchen.

Each video is divided into short action clips (average duration is 3.7 seconds), each action clip has a specific start and end time, and a verb and noun annotation describing the action (such as open fridge). There are 125 verb classes and 331 noun classes. The dataset is divided into a training set and two test sets.
