Learning by Analogy
Learning by analogyIt is a method of cognitive thinking and inference, which compares two types of things or situations to find out their similarities at the object level, and uses this as a basis to compare the relationship between things and situations, and obtains the corresponding solution by appropriately arranging/exchanging them to another thing.
There are several classification methods for analogy learning:
- Classification by object: According to the different objects, it can be divided into individual analogy, special analogy, universal analogy, etc.;
- Classification by assertion: According to the different assertions, it can be divided into positive analogy, negative analogy, positive and negative analogy, etc.;
- Classification by content: According to the different contents, it can be divided into nature analogy, relationship analogy, conditional analogy, etc.;
- Classification by thinking direction: According to the thinking direction, it can be divided into one-way analogy, two-way analogy and multi-way analogy;
- Classification by reliability: According to the reliability of the conclusions, it can be divided into scientific analogies and empirical analogies.
