Dynatrace and Microsoft Unveil AI Integration to Enhance Enterprise Cloud Observability and Automation

Dynatrace, a leader in AI-powered observability, has announced a new integration with Microsoft Azure SRE Agent, Microsoft’s AI-driven reliability assistant for Azure. This marks the first time an observability platform has been integrated with Azure SRE Agent, setting a new benchmark for cloud operations. The collaboration combines Dynatrace’s advanced AI for root cause analysis with Azure SRE’s real-time monitoring capabilities, enabling teams to identify and resolve complex issues in large-scale IT environments faster and more efficiently. As global AI spending is projected to reach nearly $1.5 trillion by 2025 according to Gartner, enterprises are under growing pressure to achieve end-to-end visibility across their digital ecosystems and automate operations at scale. The new integration allows customers to access continuous, real-time insights directly within the Azure portal, streamlining incident response and reducing downtime. It also provides remediation hints and automated suggestions, empowering teams to act quickly and focus on innovation rather than firefighting. Scott Hunter, VP of Product Management for Core AI & Engineering at Microsoft, said the partnership enhances the ability of organizations to move toward autonomous operations. “With automatic, real-time analysis and insights, teams can spend less time on troubleshooting and more time driving business value,” he added. Steve Tack, Chief Product Officer at Dynatrace, emphasized the shift from reactive alerts to proactive, intelligent automation. “Enterprises today face complex, interconnected systems where visibility gaps slow innovation. Customers don’t just need alerts—they need AI that acts. This integration advances Dynatrace’s vision for agentic AI, delivering intelligent, automated observability across the Microsoft cloud ecosystem.” The integration supports faster incident resolution, improved system reliability, and greater operational efficiency—key advantages for organizations managing hybrid and multi-cloud environments. Dynatrace customer FreedomPay will showcase its generative and agentic AI strategy at Microsoft Ignite 2025, November 18–21, and will demonstrate the integration at booth 5438. This partnership underscores the growing importance of AI-driven observability in modern IT operations. As enterprises accelerate their digital transformation and AI adoption, solutions that combine deep visibility with intelligent automation are becoming essential for maintaining performance, resilience, and innovation.
