DigitalOcean Partners with Persistent to Deliver Scalable, Secure, and Affordable AI Infrastructure for Enterprises

DigitalOcean has announced a strategic multi-year partnership with Persistent Systems to advance accessible, scalable, and secure AI solutions for digital native enterprises and developers worldwide. The collaboration, valued at an eight-figure average annual commitment, brings together Persistent’s AI engineering expertise and platform innovation with DigitalOcean’s agentic cloud infrastructure and AI capabilities. As part of the agreement, Persistent has selected DigitalOcean as its exclusive cloud and AI infrastructure provider for SASVA™, its AI-powered platform that integrates code, documentation, architecture, and executive summaries to adapt across diverse workflows and roles. SASVA will leverage DigitalOcean Gradient™ AI Agentic Cloud to run AI workloads reliably and cost-effectively, using the Gradient AI Platform for the full agent development lifecycle and accessing high-powered GPUs through DigitalOcean’s AI Infrastructure offerings. The partnership addresses key challenges in AI adoption, including rising GPU and infrastructure costs, fragmented development environments, and growing security and compliance demands. By combining Persistent’s deep AI engineering capabilities with DigitalOcean’s transparent, predictable, and managed cloud infrastructure, the collaboration aims to deliver enterprise-ready AI solutions that drive faster innovation and measurable business impact. DigitalOcean’s agentic cloud enables seamless scaling as AI evolves, reducing infrastructure and operational costs by over 50% through managed, ready-to-use environments. It also provides continuous access to a broad catalog of models, frameworks, and AI accelerators within SASVA™, streamlining development and deployment. Paddy Srinivasan, CEO of DigitalOcean, emphasized the strategic value of the partnership, stating that it expands the reach of DigitalOcean’s agentic cloud by integrating it with SASVA’s deterministic engineering. This integration accelerates AI adoption at scale and supports the development of next-generation AI applications. Sandeep Kalra, CEO and Executive Director of Persistent Systems, highlighted the shift from AI experimentation to operational integration across enterprises. He noted that the partnership enables organizations to build, deploy, and scale AI with speed, trust, and measurable results, laying the foundation for the next wave of intelligent, platform-driven innovation. The collaboration reflects a growing trend of technology services leaders choosing DigitalOcean to power advanced AI workloads. DigitalOcean’s mission to simplify cloud computing and AI continues to resonate with developers and enterprises alike, empowering them to focus on innovation rather than infrastructure complexity. With over 640,000 customers already relying on DigitalOcean for cloud, AI, and machine learning infrastructure, the partnership with Persistent marks a significant step forward in making AI more accessible, efficient, and secure for businesses of all sizes.
